Who We Are

OTS School of Dance runs on Saturday mornings with classes held at Hallfield School (Edgbaston), which are ran and taught by Miss Samantha Depper A.I.D.T.A. BAHons. First Aid Trained with St. John Ambulance.

I (Miss Sam) have been teaching for many years and so have a wealth of experience in many different teaching settings and styles with a vast difference in ability. My Qualifications I have achieved are not only a BAHons in Dance, Performance and Teaching from UCLAN but I am also an associate member of the I.D.T.A. and continuing to take more examinations to further my knowledge and teaching ability. I love to teach and it makes me so proud to encourage and guide all students to reach their full potential in their chosen style. After teaching for so many wonderful schools an opportunity arose I could not reject and that is how OTS came to life. I am excited to meet all my new students and see them learn and create friendship bonds by experiencing new experiences, learning new styles, taking examinations and taking part in competitions.

When you become a part of OTS School of Dance you are starting your journey with the I.D.T.A. The I.D.T.A (International Dance Teachers Association), is the biggest and one of the most esteemed dance associations in the world. The I.D.T.A is an internationally recognised syllabus where we are able to take examinations in all of the dance diciplines we offer at OTS. These examinations are also recognised by OFQUAL, which ensures high standard of teaching. Therefore dance ability can be encouraged to the highest standards and can also be further used in the future to obtain even higher qualifications.
